My first entry.

What was it that made me start this blog? Well, about 80% for my family and friends and 20% boredom. How could a man with a pregnant wife, a puppy and close to a 100 different hobbies get bored? Glad you asked. I joined the Navy in 2001 to "accelerate my life" and honestly I did, at least some of the time. Right now I'm sitting in Owahu, Hawaii and yes I'm bored. You see the definition of "fun" for most sailors has something to do with bars and women, while both can be fun they were lost as a part of my definition of "fun" a few years ago when I decided to start a family. Now, yes there is more to do here than the afore-mentioned, however, it would take quite a bit of plasma sold to afford most of these activities. So, Here I am creating the beginning of something beautiful. A written path, for those who care to follow, of my families experiences in becoming a family.
