The last leg.

The last 37 weeks have been some of the greatest, hardest, most objective driven weeks of our lives.

On our last visit to the doctor we found out that my wife has started that treacherous journey of life giving, she was 1 cm. Currently I've been trying to convince Ona that the time has come. I tell her the sooner she comes out the sooner I get off work, oh and of course the sooner we get to meet. I know of course that there are faster ways of sending my wife on her way. Such as hiding in a dark corner waiting for her to pass by and jumping out with a yell trying to bring about labor with a scare. I could also take that parking spot way back in the corner of the lot telling her that I'm just afraid that someone might hit the car. When in all reality I've just read that exercise can sometimes speed along the wonderful process of labor. Of course all of these are mere lonely thoughts that play on repeat in my head.

Never have we devoted so much time and energy to something so intangible. This experience has truly cleared any doubts I've had of peoples ability to give unquestionable faith to a higher being.

Ya'll are doing great and will make great parents. We are all waiting for Ona to arrive and hopefully she will be on the scene before you know it WITHOUT scaring her out of her mama! You know she needs to be born on July 24th that way she'll have 10 days with ya'll before we get there and then the newness will have worn off and WE can have her for the next 10 days! Love ya'll! I know it's a little late for the naming bit, but check this out: http://www.babynamewizard.com/namevoyager/lnv0105.html it's pretty cool.

Jeremy, you leave those girls alone, they'll go into labor when they're good and ready. :) I can just see you grinning to yourself wishing it was today. No one's ever been able to rush you, or Karen, so I bet Ona wont be rushed either. I'm so excited for y'all. I know you'll be such great parents. But I'm still frantically knitting her blanket, if she comes out too soon i'll be really late instead of just a littl late. But then it's really not rational to plan babies around blankets instead of the other way around. :) I miss you both! lv,Anna
